Common faults during normal use

1、 Elevator cannot close normally

Possible reasons include:

1. Door light curtain: Install a door light curtain on the elevator car door, with one side being the transmitting rod and the other side being the receiving rod. When the elevator door is closed, if there is an object blocking the light, the receiving rod cannot receive the light source from the transmitting rod, and immediately drives the photoelectric relay to operate. The photoelectric relay controls the door to open in the opposite direction. When the door light curtain rod is blocked by foreign objects or dust, the door will not close. At this time, the floor command in the car can be pressed, but the elevator cannot close the door and cannot operate.

2. Door opening and closing button: When the elevator door automatically opens to its position, if the door opening button is pressed and held, the elevator door will open for a long time, which can facilitate passengers to enter and exit the car normally for many times. Press the close button once to immediately close the door. Sometimes when the door opening and closing buttons are pressed, they get stuck inside and cannot pop out. If the door opening button is stuck, it may cause the elevator to arrive at the station and the back door to remain open and unable to be closed. If the door closing button is stuck, it will cause the elevator to close immediately after the back door arrives at the station.

3. Outside hall call button: The outside hall call button is used to register elevator calls for passengers outside the hall. At the same time, it has the function of opening doors in the same direction on the same floor. If the elevator is running upwards and the up call is pressed and held, the elevator door will open for a long time. Some elevators are designed to forcibly close after a certain period of time. Sometimes when the call button gets stuck, the elevator will stop on the same floor without closing the door. Or after a period of forced closing of the door, run and then drive towards the same level for a period of time each time.

4. If there are foreign objects (such as sand, wood sticks, cement, etc.) blocking the grooves of the car sill and hall door sill, the elevator door cannot be opened or closed. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the car sill and hall door sill clean at all times.

5. If the manual mode inside the car is in an independent state, the elevator cannot close the door, and calls outside the hall cannot be registered, and calls outside the hall cannot reach the elevator.

Attention:

1. When the elevator has no power to open or close the door, it is not allowed to forcefully close the door by hand to prevent personal injury and sudden parking during elevator operation.

2. During use, it is not allowed to knock on the door closing button, car interior command button, and hall exterior call button. Failure to do so may cause damage to the button and even lead to elevator malfunction and inability to operate.

2、 The elevator cannot open the door normally after normal parking

The possible reason is that there are foreign objects blocking the landing door or car door sill, causing the door to not open properly.

3、 The elevator cannot start normally after closing the door

The possible reason is that after the elevator door is closed, the car door or hall door is not closed in place, causing the door lock to fail to connect and the elevator cannot operate

4、 Sudden parking and trapping during elevator operation

In a true sense, this is what we often refer to as an elevator shutdown fault. Due to the randomness of parking, it is rare to park at the level position. Due to the current use of microcomputer control, there is inevitably a software system detection function that generates elevator protection. After the software is reset (powered on after a power outage of 10 seconds), the elevator will return to normal.
